Thirty years ago Grovemere Property had a vision of bringing high quality employment space to Ely on the old RAF Witchford Airfield On Thursday September 20th this was marked with a gathering at the new Apex Coffee House. The new café which opened in August has a theme based around RAF Witchford. Guests at the gathering were entertained by a 1940’s band dressed in military uniforms. The back wall is decorated with a full width photograph of a Lancaster which was based at RAF Witchford, landing on the runway.

Grovemere Property's support of the RAF Witchford Display of Memorabilia has been outstanding and has enabled the collection keep the memory of the courage and sacrifice of Bomber Command always in the minds of the public, and the opening of a new dedicated building will continue the work.
