75th Anniversary of the Maiden Flight of the Avro Lancaster

One of the Lancasters featured in 'Memories of RAF Witchford'.
It is interesting to note that only 11 years passed betwen the maiden flight of the splendid but conventional Lancaster and that of another Avro icon, the Vulcan.
